Mutthirai, by Vikram Bhatt's ASA Production & Enterprises, has been passed by the regional censors with an 'A' certificate and six cuts have been requested. The film is releasing on June 19 in nearly 80 screens across Tamil Nadu.

Mutthirai stars Daniel Balaji, Nithin Sathya, Lakshmi Rai and Manjari Phadnis.

"It is an edge-of-the-seat action thriller with twists and turns in every scene," says director Srinath. "The story is about two petty thieves - played by Daniel Balaji and Nithin Sathya - who are initially at loggerheads, but later become buddies as they are framed for a crime they have not committed."
